When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access the following data in read-only mode:

  • Bank account balances
  • Transaction history (purchases, payments, invoices, bills)
  • Accounts receivable and payable balances
  • Outstanding invoices and upcoming bills

We do not access personal employee information, tax details, or other sensitive data beyond what is necessary to provide the Service.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database service with servers located in the European Union. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

  • Regular security assessments
  • Row-level security policies to isolate user data

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Check-in history is retained to allow you to view past results. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal purposes.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Stripe (Payments)

We use Stripe to process payments. Your payment information is sent directly to Stripe and is subject to their Privacy Policy. We do not store your full credit card details.

4.2 Intuit QuickBooks

We connect to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's official API using OAuth 2.0 authentication. Your QuickBooks credentials are never shared with us. Your use of QuickBooks is subject to Intuit's Privacy Statement.

4.3 Supabase (Database)

We use Supabase for data storage and authentication. Supabase's Privacy Policy applies to their handling of data.

4.4 Anthropic (AI)

Our "Ask Slick" AI feature uses Anthropic's Claude API. When you ask questions, relevant financial context is sent to generate responses. We do not share personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to answer your question.

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR), you have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
